Setback to Congress, Bhisham Sharma, Ex-Congress MLA from Ghonda assembly in Delhi Joins BJP

New Delhi: In a Major Setback to Congress, Bhisham Sharma, ex-Congress MLA from Ghonda assembly in Delhi today joined Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of Delhi BJP Chief Manoj Tiwari and Shyam Jaju, National Vice President & Prabhari Bjp Delhi.


Earlier Congress suspended EX MLA, from Ghonda, Bhisham Sharma for six years, after he was photographed with Manoj Tiwari amidst speculations of him joining BJP. Congress’s difficulties may increase in North-East Delhi as over a dozen leaders have also resigned from their posts in protest against the expulsion of former MLA and former district president Bhishma Sharma from the party’s Ghonda assembly.

Welcoming, Bhisam Sharma, Delhi BJP President, Manoj Tiwari said,

“Currently there is wave in the country to make Narendra Modi Prime Minister again. The impact which can bee seen by Many good leaders from the opposition parties have joined BJP. Today not only Bhisam ji have joined Bhartiya Janta Party but with him there are lot of other important members as well who have joined hands with us.”

Breifing the Media, Congress suspended EX MLA, from Ghonda, Bhisham Sharma
Said,

” I served congress for 41 years as a worker. But I feel bad when a person like Prime Minister Narendra Modi is making efforts to unite this country by doing Surgical Strike and Air strike, and Congress asked for the proof of it really made me think about the ideology of the party. I must tell you now I have joined BJP, will not leave this party like other leaders.”
