Sharda University Student Commits Suicide, Family Allege Blackmailing!

Greater Noida: A third-year Physiotherapy Student of Sharda University in Greater Noida allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison at her paying guest (PG) accommodation in sector Beta-I of Greater Noida, After two days of the incident, police have now registered an FIR against a youth who hails from Dhankur for allegedly blackmailing her.
The FIR got registered over the complaint of the girl’s father who alleged the boy for blackmailing his daughter as he is having some obscene videos of her. The youth Arvind Kumar was saying that he will make the video viral.
The deceased has been identified as Spana Jatav (21), a native of Atta Gujran village in Dankaur area and was a third year student of Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Sharda University in Greater Noida.
Girls father in his statement said that “A friend by my daughter from Sikandarbad told us that 3 days before the incident Spana(victim) shared a message in which she told that Arvind has recorded some of my videos and now threatening me of making videos viral. I will commit suicide”
“On Thursday we had registered an FIR in the incident against Arvind Kumar on girls father complaint and investigating the matter” said SHO Ajay Kumar Beta II police station.
