The Curator, Director, Shree Yash Art Gallery Mrs.Savita Agrawal, who also is an artist herself, finds herself very close to nature and village life. Hence, she chose this subject as it intrigues her as to how life is confined in the village and how the villagers think it to be there only world and try to be happy in their own world which is full of their own thought processes and their own little world where they find happiness from the minutest thing that they do..

Their satisfaction in doing their household chores or by fetching water from the well or by celebrating small festivals brightens their day and keeps them happy. As the wrestler in his wrestling arena only targets his opponent and cannot think anything beyond it, so is a villager, his village is his life and cannot think beyond it. As also the scenic beauty fascinates the artists with the mountains touching the skies or the horizon where the sky meets the depth of the seas, the tall mountains, the greenery, the lakes, and the breath-taking nature spreading its fragrance with a touch of godliness makes the viewer enjoy the picturesque view. The depiction becomes real to life and inspires the on-looker.

Mrs. Agrawal is the curator and Director of the Shree Yash Art Gallery, which has a mission to “promote Indian artworks and motivate upcoming artists”. Situated at the prime hub in the capital – Green Park, New Delhi- the gallery has easy access for both the art lovers and the artists.

Mrs. Savita Agrawal, is known for her wash paintings of Bengal tradition of emotions and forms. Her works show symmetry of the laws of form, curve and line, light and shade, movement and stillness. In her wash paintings one can see the vital structure of lines, surface and use of color.

Shree Yash art Gallery plans to hold numerous exhibitions, seminars, art workshops and so on. The Gallery recently exhibited at the India Art Festival, Mumbai and won acclaim for its paintings.

About the Participating Artists

R.C.Bhawsar, depicts his paintings with scenic beauty and portrays reality with a dash of spirituality and it is this art that helps him connect to the almighty and adds to his peace of mind and helps him become content.

Dr. S D Shrotriya loves the himalayan ranges, the calmness of the atmosphere that has the strength to turn the greatest of wind tides according to its desires, taking into account the tumultus weather and moulding them in his style…Water color is his forte and the serenity in his painting is conveyed to the viewer.

Dr. Rohini Sethi, an upcoming artist loves to depict the village life in full swing with the villagers doing their morning chores and giving shape to their various jobs.. She uses colors to show the moods of her characters.

Bhavna Sethi, also an upcoming artist, depicts villagers with their festivities and moulds her style with different textures.
Thus, a unique combination of village and beauty go hand in hand and the artists do their work with deep sincerity and dedication…As is rightly said , beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder , an artist has an eye to capture beauty in any form then to further enhance it to captivate the viewers.
