Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi said today that after completing 60 days of his Government he is confident that the Government has started moving in the right direction and good results are expected in time to come to fulfil hope and aspiration of the people of the country.

 

 

Addressing the first council meeting of BJP after the Lok Sabha General Election Prime Minister told thousands of workers that the government and party should have one goal which must be inclusive and reach to the last man in the queue. Shri Modi stressed that his Government will fulfill all the expectations and aspirations of the people.

 

While elaborating the details about the stand of India at WTO, Shri Modi emphasized that he had two options – either to get good publicity in the overseas newspapers or safeguarding the interest of poorest of the poor and welfare of farmers in India. PM stressed that his Government has taken care of the poor which UPA Government overlooked since long.

 

Shri Narendra Modi said that regardless of the nuclear test by Atal Bihari Vajpayee government, or the new government’s stand on WTO, both were in our national interest.

 

Prime Minister said that a party which could not do anything in 60 years is asking for the results from us in 60 days.

 

Prime Minister emphasised on public participation and said that we should move towards participatory democracy and representative democracy.

 

Prime Minister informed that after the convening of the new government the world’s attitude towards India has considerably changed. The reason for this is that this government has the absolute majority and mandate of the people to rule. The absolute majority gives the government the opportunity to become the world’s defining accomplishment.

 

Prime Minister welcomed the new party president shri Amit Shah. Prime Minister said that in the recent Lok  Sabha elections, Mr Rajnath Singh was the captain of the team and Shri  Amit Shah was “man of the match”. PM expressed confidence that the party led by Shri Shah will be transcending new heights. He said that if Mr. Amit Shah, had not got the responsibility of the UP state in charge for the elections, then the country would have not know his strengths.

The Prime Minister said that peace, unity, and brotherhood, is a precondition for development. He condemned such political parties which even after the massive defeat in the elections are still playing  vote bank politics and rupturing the very fabrics of society which was woven together.

 

While deliberating on details on the issues of the party PM Shri Modi credited the inspired party workers for the massive win.  He said that organization should choose a topic separately from politics every year. This topic should be connected to society, such as energy savings. He said that with new identity the party can strengthen its roots.

 

America has appreciated “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas” (with everyone, for everyone’s growth) mantra now significance of this mantra is understood by all.

 

Today, August 9 – Revolution Day – On this occasion the prime minister paid tribute the martyrs and occasion of Raksha Bandhan tomorrow, the Prime Minister greeted the people.
