Six wanted criminals arrested by Noida police following different encounter in the district

Greater Noida (23/11/18) : Noida police has conducted a series of crack down and arrested six wanted criminals involved in various crimes in the district after different gun battles at several incidents.

As per police, a wanted criminal, Mohit was intercepted near Noida Sector 62’s Jaipuria College on Wednesday night. He was arrested after an exchange of fire with the Noida Sector 58 police.

In another encounter on 21st November during routine checking on Pari Chowk when a Police team tried to stop two men riding on a scooty. They took out their weapon and pointed towards police, while attempting to flee away by challenging the police personnel. There after both the criminal Javed and Manish were arrested and latter their accomplice Mohit was also nabbed on the identification of arrested accused.

Another encounter on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday was with cab-robbers Raj and Sushil. The duo’s car was stopped for checking in the Noida Sector 99 area. The accused reportedly fired on the policemen on duty to try and escape, but the cops opened fire in retaliation and managed to arrest the alleged criminals.

Late Thursday night, an encounter broke out in Sector 54 under Sector 24 police station in which Sabir, a resident of Delhi, was held with firearms and a stolen motorcycle.

Gautam Buddh Nagar SSP Ajay Pal Sharma himself spear-headed the operations, supervising the strike teams. In the past few days Noida police claimed to have arrest seven criminals.
