To take a walk down the corridors of nostalgia, the sixth Alumni Meet, SANKALAN 2017 was organized by I.T.S Engineering College Greater Noida on March 5, 2017 in the Sardar Patel Auditorium of the college. It was inaugurated by the Director Dr. Vineet Kansal. The meet startedtraditionally with the lighting of lamp followed by the recital of Saraswati Vandana. The occasion was graced by more than 228 Alumni and their family members ranging across various batches from various parts of the country. Speaking on the occasion, the Director, Dr.Vineet Kansal underlined the importance & objective of the Alumni Meet .The Director Public Relation of I.T.S-The Education Group, Mr. Surendara Sood praised the achievements of the Alumni and welcomed them on behalf of ITS family. The inaugural session was attended by Dean Academic Administration, Dr. Gagan Deep Arora, Dean Students Welfare, Dr.Sanjay Yadav, various HoDs, Head CRC,Prof. R.B. Sharma , Faculty members & staff of I.T.S Engineering College. The inaugural session was followed by “Kavi Sammelan” graced by three renowned “Kavis” Mr. Deepak Gupta, Mr.Ved Vyas Ved & Ms. Mumtaz Naseem. All the distinguished guests were welcomed by Dean Academics Administration, Dr. Gagan Deep Arora, Chairman of the Alumni Meet, Dr.Sanjay Yadav and Head of Applied Science & Humanities Department, Dr. Rakesh Dubey. The recitation of all the “Kavis” were equally enjoyed by both the alumnus and faculty members. The songs and dance performance by our students also received a loud applause. Some of the Alumni shared the exciting memories of their student’s life at I.T.S Engineering College. To keep intact this memory, souvenir was distributed to all the alumni by Dr.Sanjay Yadav and Prof. R.B.Sharma. After this, the university degree was distributed to all the concerned Alumni. The entire program was anchored by Ms. Toran Kapoor and Ms. Preeti Singh. The function concluded with the lunch session where a great bonhomie was observed everywhere with Alumni reliving their old memories with their batch mates, seniors and juniors. Many of the current students were also seen interacting with their pass out seniors and learning from their experiences. The Meet ended with promise to meet again and everyone bid emotional farewell to each other and their beloved college.
