Snag stalls Delhi Metro’s Dwarka line again

Services on Delhi Metro’s Blue line—Noida to Dwarka—were disrupted on Saturday after a snag in the overhead electrification (OHE). DMRC officials said some foreign object got entangled in the wiring near the Rajori Garden station due to a thunderstorm around 3.45pm, necessitating an emergency shutdown of power supplies on the line. The technical fault led to chaos at many stations along the route—one of the busiest in the capital—that links Dwarka in west Delhi with Noida and Vaishali in neighbouring Uttar Pradesh.
