New Delhi: (30/07/2019) The Starcast of Shilpi Dasgupta’s KHANDAANI SHAFAKHANA are leaving no stones unturned in promoting their upcoming Movie.
Khandaani Shafakhana which stars Sonakshi Sinha, Rapper Badshah and Varun Sharma were witnessed in New Delhi for the Movie Promotions.
Sonakshi is playing the role of a sexologist who takes over her uncle’s sex clinic after his death. The actress is in a mission to break the stigma around sex in mainstream Indian society.
Talking about difficult sequence of her career in Khandaani Shafakhana. She said, “I shot the most difficult sequence of my career in this film, where I am shown advertising the clinic in a live market. So, I was on this cycle rickshaw and behind me was a huge banner, which had ‘sex’ written on it.”
She further said, “I had to say the names of all the sex-related illnesses and I was really shy before doing it. Shilpi Dasgupta, gave me the confidence to do it. That’s precisely what the film talks about, that there should be no hesitation in the first place, even if I have to talk about it in front of 1,000 people.”
Badshah said, “I was offered Vicky Kaushal’s Lust Stories. Then, I was also offered Good News, the role which Diljit paaji is doing. I was sceptical so I refused. But after turning down two films, that fear had gone. And so, I did not have any hesitation before signing Khandaani Shafakhana.”
Speaking on the occasion, Varun Sharma said, “When it comes to making a comedy film, it is important to have good actors around you. No matter how well I pull off a comic scene, it won’t come shining through if my co-actor doesn’t respond to it. Then the whole scene would fall completely flat.”
