London, 18th May 2023: Srichand Parmanand Hinduja, the 87 year old chairman of the Indian conglomerate, Hinduja Group passed away on Wednesday.
The business giant was reported to be quite sometime, and was the eldest of the 4 Hinduja brothers. A family spokesperson announced the news and added that the whole Hinduja family mourns the loss of the ‘family patriarch.’
Based in London, Mr. Hinduja, a British national was left for London sometime later last year. The Hinduja Family and his brothers Gopichand and Prakash, were accused of receiving nearly SEK 81 million in illegal commissions for helping a Swedish gunmaker win an Indian government contract.
The court had exonerated them after a long case, lasting throughout the year. Reports later emerged that the business giant was suffering from dementia called the Lewy Body disease.
