SP Traffic Prabal Pratap Singh Shares Life Tips

Ten News spoke to Mr. Prabal Pratap Singh, SP(Traffic) regarding his achievement, challenges he faced and tips for students preparing for Indian Police Services. Here is an excerpt of our short talk with him.

TN: What has been your biggest achievement so far?

SP: Being in-charge of such big city this is itself a very big achievement. In this job one gets a lot of power but also responsibilities. I try my best to do best for our citizens.

TN: IAS and IPS are one of the toughest competitive examinations in India. What are the tips that you will like to share with aspiring students who are preparing for it?

SP: One should be very specific about studies and must work really hard. I completely believe that hard work has no alternative. If one is not completely concentrated on his studies, things won’t yield good results. So I will just say everyone to work really-really hard to achieve their goals.

TN: What are the challenges that you might have face in life so far?

SP: Everyone faces one or the other challenge in their life. There are times in life when one feels disheartened.  But as of my experience I believe one should not lose patience. They should keep working hard and pass through such hurdles. I would suggest that if someone is experiencing failure they should still keep trying. During my student days I had an inspiring lines pasted on my wall and it read, “Night is the darkest just before the dawn comes.” So one has to keep working hard in such dark situations as well and I am sure the light of success would reach them as well.
