SP(Traffic) Anil Jha warns erring roadways drivers, lane driving to be enforced strictly

Greater Noida : The buses of Uttar Pradesh Road Transport corporation have been found to be violating the traffic rules extensively while commuting over Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and on Yamuna Expressway. Buses have been reportedly overtaking the other vehicles from fast lane of expressway.

But now such buses have been listed down by Noida traffic police and action will be taken against them. The regional Manager of Noida Bus Depot has told that he will also order all bus driver to drive in their own lane without violating the traffic rules.

Traffic SP Anil Jha also held a meeting with the regional manager of Noida Depot and Greater Noida Depot and informed them about the bus drivers violating the traffic rules and driving on the wrong lane. He also discussed the issue of over speeding by the drivers and informed that all this is getting recorded by the CCTV camera installed along the road. Number of times drivers have also been warned but still they are volatilizing the rules.

So E-Chalan’s along with the footage are being prepared and soon will be handed over to the Noida and Greater Noida Depot administration. Under this the driving license of drivers will be cancelled for 3 months.

Regarding this issue Noida Depto Regional Manager Satander Verma said that all the drivers will be ordered to follow the lane rules strictly and if still any complaint will came against them then their services will be dismissed.
