Staff Selection Commission has released a short notice on its official website about the recruitment of multi-tasking non technical staff across various ministries and governmental departments. The official notice released on Dec. 13, 2016 provides the exam dates for recruitment of multi tasking non technical staff. As per the notification, the SSC Multi Tasking Non Technical Exam would be conducted on 16 April 2017, 30 April 2017 and 7 May 2017 across different centers. The applications for the recruitment would be made available online at ssconline.nic.in from December 24, 2016, tentatively. The detailed official recruitment notification would be published on the official website ssc.nic.in.
Candidates should further note that the age limit as per the short notice would be explained within the detailed notification. Also, the minimum eligibility criteria for applying for Multi Tasking (Non Technical) Staff vacancies is a pass certificate in Matric level or equivalent examination. Please note that the relaxations given to reserved categories like SC/ST and OBC as well as for Persons with Disability would not extend to the basic minimum educational qualification. The details of the relaxations in terms of age limit would be available in the detailed notification, which usually is about 5 years for SC/ST and PwD candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. Candidates are requested to check the official website for details after Dec. 24.
Candidates interested in applying for the positions can do so from December 24, 2016 onwards. The applications would close on January 20, 2017. The fee, exam pattern and the details of the vacancies would be published in the detailed notification. Accordingly, the same would be updated in due course of time.
