Noida, 15th September, 2022: The Noida Police have lodged an FIR against a guy who is accused of stalking a senior IPS officer, creating a false Instagram account on her name, and sending her inappropriate SMS from a WhatsApp number.

Manzil Saini, a 47-year-old UP cadre IPS officer on central deputation with the NSG as DIG, has informed the Noida Police against the cyber stalker.

In her complaint, Saini, a resident of Noida’s Sector 78, stated that she recently discovered a fake Instagram account in her name with her photo in uniform as the profile picture.

“Through my sources, I have recognised this guy as Rishi Saini, a resident of Kalpi in Uttar Pradesh’s Jalaun district,” Saini said in her police report.

She also went on to say that the person had been following her on social media for a long time. He recently sent her WhatsApp messages as well. “He is ruining my image and causing me mental torture,” the senior IPS official claimed.

Noida Police said they initiated an investigation into the incident on Monday night, immediately after receiving the bureaucrat’s complaint. “We’ve launched an investigation and are working with the IT staff to find him. He will be nabbed shortly, ” DCP (Noida) Harish Chandar asserted.

Saini was the National Human Rights Commission’s DIG prior to her appointment as NSG DIG. She had become Lucknow’s first female SSP in 2016.
