Status of women is the success index of any country. Only those society or country could progress where women are well educated, cultured, safe & power full. We are proud of our nations’ culture & women power but looking to the recently grown atrocities against women, the roll of Durga Vahini is very important, said Dr. Surendra Jain, National secretary, Vishwa indu Paishad while addressing the valedictory secession of Durga Vahini training camp in Karawal Nagar area of East Delhi.

Emphasizing the need of such camps, the state convener Durga Vahini Ms Sanjana Chaudhary said that our aim is to keep girls free from any type of fear they may have in their minds. This camp has got more importance due to the growing atrocities against women in the national capital of Delhi, she added. The head of this training camp Mrs Sandhya Sharma said that the Girls performed Yoga Paranayam, Judo-Karate, shooting, and the different mode of self defence in the program organized in the Gyan Sarovar Bal Niketan Public School in Karawal Nagar of East Delhi. During the camp, inmates were also awakened on different topics of their interest like First aid, Love Zihad, Terrorism, social evils, Swadeshi, Teen aged problems & their solutions, Satsang, Hawan & Vaidic Gyan etc, she added.

The program presided over by the state head of Matru Shakti Ms. Simmy Ahuja and having chief guest Ms. Anchal Dahiya was also graced by Ms. Minaxi Shivam, the Mayor of East Delhi, State Co-Convenor-Durga Vahini Ms Kusum & the social worker Mrs. Madhu Seth. VHP’s state Vice President Shri Ashok Kumar, General secretary shri Ram Krishna Srivastava, Treasurer shri Ram Niwash Gupta, Organizing Secretary shri Anil Gupta, Satsang Pramukh shri Shiv Datt, Media incharge shri Vinod Bansal & east Delhi President shri Bachan singh, secretary shri Ravi & shri Jai Bhagawan Goyal were amongst the other dignitaries present on the occasion.

The week-long camp, designed for all round development of the women, started on 27th May, imparted training to 165 girls from different part of the national capital, said shri Vinod Bansal, the media incharge of VHP Delhi.
