Successfully working on dam rehabilitation, water issues: Gajendra Shekhawat at IWW

Greater Noida (01/11/2022): President Murmu inaugurated the India Water Week’s 7th edition, in presence of UP Governor Anandi Ben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.

Addressing the inaugural session, Shekhawat outlined how India has been at the forefront of sustainably using water resources.

“We have been working on dam rehabilitation and improvement program for years. India has successfully established itself in this regard as we enter into the program’s 2nd phase” Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, said at the 7th India Water Week

According to the Ministry of Jal Shakti, the platform will be used to elicit ideas and opinions from global-level decisions makers, politicians, researchers, and entrepreneurs.
