Tablets distributed to Galgotias College students under “DigiShakti” scheme

To connect the youth with modern times and make them self-reliant, tablets were distributed to students at Galgotias Educational Institutions (GCET, GIMT & GCOP) located in Knowledge Park under the Uttar Pradesh government’s UP Free Smartphone Tablet Scheme “DigiShakti”. The chief guest at the event was the Thakur Dhirendra Singh, MLA from Jewar. Addressing the students, he said, “Teachers are the true nation-builders, and students are the invaluable heritage of our nation. Today, our country is the youngest nation in the world. Prime Minister Modi sees the path to the country’s progress through the young people. The bright future of the nation is in your hands. Therefore, both the central and state governments want our students to develop holistically and enhance the pride of our nation globally.”

He further expressed his pride, stating that students of Galgotias College have also brought glory to their college and nation in various fields. He always prays to God for the bright future of all students.

In today’s program, tablets were distributed to 1,227 students of Galgotias College. Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of the college group, appreciated this important step by the government, stating that the goal of providing free tablets and smartphones to students in Uttar Pradesh is clear: to advance students into the digital world, enabling them to receive better education and find employment opportunities. This will help students become empowered and self-reliant without any difficulties. In the true sense, this significant step by the government will strongly support the theme of “Developed India,” a dream envisioned by the Prime Minister. If the youth of the country are empowered, the nation will surely progress towards development.

Special guests at the program included Dr. Mohd. Asim Qadri, Director of the college, Nitin Gaur, Registrar of Galgotias University, Vinod Kumar, Registrar of Galgotias College, Dr. J.P. Pathak, Dr. Vikram Sharma, Dean, and other department heads and teachers.
