Teacher’s organizations holds meet to discuss and brainstorm over Issues of Teaching Fraternity

Rashtirya Saikshik Mahasangh today organized Teacher Conclave 2018 at ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida. Rajyasabha MP Anil Agarwal, Jahanabad BJP MP Dr. Arun Kumar, Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh, Dadri MLA Tejpal Nagar, AKTU VC Prof. Vinay Pathak and other dignitaries took part in this event and expressed their views. The topic of speeches varied from state of modern education to issues concerning welfare of teaching fraternity.

The ceremony started with traditional lamp lightening after which ITS Group of Institutions Chairman Prof. Vikas Singh delivered the welcome address. Large number of educationalists was gathered at ITS auditorium for this congregation where thoughts and ideas were exchanged for the betterment of the teaching fraternity.

Speaking at the event Jehanabad MP Dr. Arun Kumar said, “It is the teachers who play most vital role in a nation building. We are from the country where a teacher like Chanakya makes a great king Chandragupta, it is where Paramhans ignite an individual’s potential and turns him into Swami Vivekananda. Hence it is teachers who should be treated fairly and with respect so that they can contribute towards the cause of Nation building”.

He also highlighted the concerns of the fraternity he said, “I agree that teacher fraternity is going through a tough phase right now but still we are making the country proud by utilising our capabilities and moulding it in the true hero’s”.
Speaking next, office bearer of national body of teachers association Ompal said, “While whole world is adopting the ancient teachings of India, we are looking to adopt their ways. It is very important that commercialisation of education is stopped and welfare of teachers is given utmost priority”.

While speaking at ‘Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh’, Uttar Pradesh’s Shikshak Sammelan 2018, AKTU VC Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak expressed his displeasure over the present scenario of education sector and commented, “It is very sad that we live in a time where bouncers of a College Chairman are paid 40 thousand rupees whereas they have to struggle to get even 10K monthly package to their students. This needs to be changed and we seriously need to be think in this direction”.

Professor Vinay Pathak also announced about an upcoming scheme by AKTU under which all faculty members will be given a life insurance worth 5 lakh rupees. Also there will be stringent measures to check the laying off procedure of faculties of the colleges attached with AKTU and under certain conditions even affiliations can also be cancelled.
Other speakers also spoke about issues concerning the teaching fraternity of the nation and discussed how policies friendly towards the teachers shall be formed.
