Ten Day NCC camp concludes at Galgotias College, cadets exhibit colourful Indian culture in closing ceremony

10-day annual training camp 131 of 37th UP Corps Battalion NCC Ghaziabad under NCC Group Headquarters concluded on Sunday. Cadets were trained on various basic elements of armed forces in last ten days.

600 NCC cadets from 10 corps of 6 districts participated in this camp which ran from 14th July to 23rd July. The main purpose of the camp was to prepare a team of NCC Group Headquarters Ghaziabad for Army Camp. In which activities and competition for firing, obstacles, map reading, feed signal, judging distance and selection of best cadets was conducted. The 74th U.P.NCC battalion was the Numero Uno Of the camp while the 41st U.P.NCC battalion was second. The cadets of the victorious battalion were felicitated by Brigadier Salabh Sonal, Group Commander, Camp Thal Army Group Head Quarter Ghaziabad. In his message he said that the nation is always paramount for all of us. The commanding officer of the camp, Col. Sameer Chaudhary also honored the cadets by medals and accolades. While addressing the cadets, he said that hard work and discipline are the basic mantras of success.

In a series of cultural programmes, NCC cadets Riya Shri Vastav, Aakriti Pal, Riddhi Jain, Nayonika, Atulya ji, Sarvagya Jain, Aadya Sharma, Agrima Gupta, Tejashwi, Yukta Rani, Karthik Tripathi, Lakshya Tyagi, Aishwarya Sai, Nayonika Banerjee, Sarvagya Jain, Raj Choudhary, Konal Gola exhibit various colors of Indian culture on the stage.

University Chancellor Sunil Galgotia said that such events inspire the youth to serve the nation selflessly.

Dhruv Galgotia, Chief Executive, Galgotias University wished the cadets all the best and wished them a bright future.

The camp was conducted under the patronage of Camp Subedar Major Nirmal Singh and instructor Dushyant Rana.
