New Delhi, (30/4/2019) : Unhappy with the regular goof ups in the campaigns of BJP candidate for East Delhi constituency Gautam Gambhir, the central leadership of BJP asked party’s national Vice President Shyam Jaju to supervise and manage the poll affairs of the cricketer turned politician.

Gambhir is in news for all the wrong reasons such as holding public meeting without permission or delay in his roadshow and an FIR by Aam Aadmi Party over possession of two voter identity cards.

Sources said, that all these goof ups and mismanagement have made the central leadership angry. In a strong message, the top leadership of the party asked Delhi in-charge and national Vice President Shyam Jaju to take control of Gambhir’s poll management.

“It is learnt that nothing will be done without Shyam Jaju’s approval and his decision related to Gambhir’s poll management will be final and binding for all without any question,” said a senior party functionary.

Apart from managing Gambhir’s poll, Jaju’s other key responsibility will be to end infighting and factionalism in the East Delhi parliamentary constituency.

Gambhir is in a triangular contest with Congress’ Arvinder Singh Lovely and AAP’s Atishi for the East Delhi Lok Sabha seat.
