Union Cabinet clears Rs 1,200 crore for Aadhaar

After Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured full support to the Aadhaar project on Saturday, the Union Cabinet on Wednesday sanctioned Rs 1,200 crore to Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to meet the target of enrolling 100 crore residents by the end of 2015.
