UP BJP Chief Swatantra Dev, Tamil Nadu Guv Banwarilal test positive for Covid-19

New Delhi [India], Aug 2 2020: Uttar Pradesh BJP Chief Swatantra Dev Singh has tested positive for Covid-19.
He himself tweeted the information and asked for everyone who has come in contact with him in last few days, to get themselves tested.

Following advice by doctors, Singh has self quarantined himself at his residence.
Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit too has tested positive for Covid-19.

According to doctors of Kauvery hospital, he is asymptomatic and clinically stable.
“As the infection is mild, he has been advised home isolation and will be monitored by the medical team of Kauvery Hospital,” said the Chennai hospital in a press statement.

Meanwhile, Home Minister Amit Shah who had earlier today reported positive for the virus has been admitted at Gurgaon’s Medanta Hospital.
