UP CM gives his approval for Financial City in the YEIDA area

Greater Noida :  For developing Noida and Greater Noida region as a financial hub on the line of Mumbai, state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given his nod to an ambitious project off creating a financial city in the Gautam Buddha Nagar district.

CEO Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, Arun Veer Singh said that “CM has given his approval for the “Financial City “which is to be developed on the theme of Mumbai in sector 10”.

He further said, “For (detail project report) DPR we will be floating request for proposal soon to appoint the company for the same. The mega project will be structured in 1200 acres of area and the city basically will be a financial hub, where facilities will be provided to different financial institutions and services so that they can make it their headquarters. It will aim to provide a single platform for all financial services and requirements,”

The plan is to develop the YEDIA region as the financial capital of Uttar Pradesh like Mumbai has gained the title of India’s financial capital. The land will be given to corporate offices of all banks in the country, financial institutions, stock market, stock exchange, commodity market office etc. Apart from that international level convention centre will also be built here.

 

As the area is in close proximity to the upcoming Jewar Airport and proposed Film City.so most of the land is already been acquired. Because of all these lined up projects economic activity in the region has boosted and the financial city will speed it up even more. There is a possibility of investment of 20 thousand crores in Financial City and it has been estimated to generate employment for 50 thousand people.
