UP Government, India Expo’s joint International Trade Show to boost business prospects

Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh), April 17: Keeping with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s goal of achieving $ 1-trillion economy by 2027 and boosting trade & investment in the State, a mega international trade show is going to be organised in Greater Noida, later this year.

Being held with joint efforts of Uttar Pradesh Government and India Expo Mart Limited, the trade show is expected to witness presence of over 2000 exhibitors and five lakh plus visitors, thus making it a mega show of unparalleled scale. It is pertinent to mention here that it is being organised with a focus on Uttar Pradesh International Trade ahead of IITF Delhi and it is proposed to be now an annual Show.

This five day business extravaganza of different parallel events being held from September 21 to September 25, is going to be the the first edition of the UP International Trade Show. Though in terms of future goals, it has bigger aspirations in terms of reach, business, promotion of focus sectors and economic and industrial prospects.

The mega trade show will especially showcase ODOP products, GI-Tag products, and a whole lot of other products that are created and manufactured across Uttar Pradesh and that have immense potential to be marketed globally.

In the show, worthy products will find B2B and B2C buyers from India and abroad, and other stakeholders including the state govt. agencies , will chart the path for making the most of it for all.

Dr Rakesh Kumar, Chairman, India Expo Mart Limited (IEML) & Director General, Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), is touted be the key architect behind the design , planning and execution of the Show and bringing his master exhibition expertise to the event, is sure to make it a grand success.

The trade show will also host different conclaves and conferences throughout the five day event, as well as is expected to have different launches and live performances too.

With MSMEs being the focus sector of the show, it will be a golden platform and opportunity for all levels of enterprises in Uttar Pradesh—micro, small, medium, and large—to showcase, sell, and expand reach to wider customers in India and overseas.

Apart from businesses and enterprises, the trade show will feature a fair share of promotional and development schemes (both government and non-government) in the show.

 

It appears that after projecting the NOIDA region as Industrial Hub, Knowledge Park, Financial Capital and now UP Govt is projecting this region as International Trade window of Uttar Pradesh in view of upcoming NOIDA International Airport.
