UP polls: PM Modi to hold first hybrid rally from Bijnor on Monday

Uttar Pradesh, February 5: As Uttar Pradesh assembly elections are around the corner, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting the state for the first time to hold a hybrid rally covering three districts of Uttar Pradesh; Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, covering 18 assembly constituencies.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi On 7 February at about 11:30 am, will be physically present in Bijnor & will hold a rally which will be hybrid in nature.

This will be the Prime Minister’s first campaign rally in UP since the announcement of the date by the Election Commission; until now he has addressed in virtual rallies only due to the COVID restrictions.

Arrangements at about 75 locations for the people to listen to PM Modi’s address has been made by the Bhartiya Janta party. The party is expecting close to a lakh of people at these locations as the EC has now given the ease in Covid restrictions.

BJP will also be using their social media platforms to reach out to people digitally.

The polling in Uttar Pradesh will be held on February 10, 14, 20, 23, 27 and March 3 and 7 in seven phases. The counting of votes will take place on March 10.
