VedicGram conducts Julus-e-Muharram in Noida

 

Noida. On the occasion of Arbaeen, also known as Chehelum, which commemorates the end of the 40-day mourning period after the martyrdom of Shiite Imam Hussain ibn Ali, the grandson of Prophet Mohammed, at the hands of forces of Ummayad Caliph Yazid in the battle of Karbala, the people of the community worldwide conduct a holy walk to convey their regards to his sacrifice.  Noida also witnessed such a procession, popularly known as “Julus-e-Chehlum”, where the the members of the community conducted the Julus starting from Sector 12/22 junction and ending at sector-50.

Huge crowd followed the procession and turned it into a success. The Police and local authorities were escorting the procession to keep a keen eye over any mis – happening. The Julus was also accompanied by a Medical Van, which was powered by VedicGram, an Ayurvedic health care centre based out of Noida. The Medical van was equipped with all the basic medical aid facilities to help the members of the procession in case of any emergency, along with providing drinking water to the old and the needy members. The procession holds significance to the people of the community, and members of all age were seen in the Julus. All around the world people convey many services to the people joining the Julus. These include serving tea, snacks, sweets and even massaging the feet of the elderly or weak members. The procession experienced few members reporting some minor health problems, whom were taken good care of by the Medical van. The medical van was headed by Dr. Piyush Juneja, Vedicgram along with a team of two. Speaking on the event, Dr. Juneja said, “My team was ready to assist the people in the Julus, and provided assorted medical facilities including drinking water services for the needful.” The procession concluded on successful note with the members of the Julus-e-Muharram gratified with their holy custom.
