The Aam Aadmi Party is releasing video evidence to expose the real character of BJP leaders in Delhi and challenges it to explain the public conduct of vice- chairman of New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) and its former MLA, Karan Singh Tanwar.

In the video, Tanwar can be seen threatening and abusing women in full public view and is also seen proceeding menacingly towards women, openly daring to finish them off.

Can the BJP deny this irrefutable evidence of its proposed model of governance for Delhi ?

It is shocking that Delhi Police is refusing to register an FIR even four days after the woman victim submitted a written complaint to the SHO of the Naraina Police Station on Wednesday (November 19).

Should an individual like Tanwar continue on his position in the NDMC ? What is BJP’s stand on the issue ? Should Tanwar not be immediately arrested ?

Delhi Police should stop acting under pressure of the BJP’s central government and should immediately book Tanwar and his associates named in the written complaint by the victim, for having outraged the modesty of women and for criminal intimidation.

The victim has stated to the police that she was given a life threat, abused and slapped in full public view by Tanwar and his associates.

The victim has also told the police in her statement that she lives alone with her children and fears for her life.

The AAP questions the direct interference of union home ministry in the Delhi Police functioning since last six months, which is clearly reflected in this case.

Delhi Police has been hesitant to take any action against BJP leadership, the Delhi unit of which has been repeatedly indulging in illegal activities, whether it has been beating up and threatening government officials and the public or bribing MLAs of other parties to defect.
