Greater Noida, 29 July 2022: The brightest hope for the future lies in the lessons of the past. We all have always wondered what exactly is a successful life, career and personality. Well, it can be precisely defined by Dr Harivansh Chaturvedi, Director of BIMTECH, Greater Noida. With more than 45 years of teaching and academic administration experience, he wants to continue serving Indian higher education in the later years of his life.
In a special interview with Ten News, Dr Chaturvedi, a veteran academic professional and business mentor shared his future plans of contributing to Indian higher education.
“I have decided that for a few more years, I will continue to serve the Indian higher education and my institute BIMTECH. Of course, it is subject to the consent and concurrence of our top management and board of governors,” Dr Chaturvedi.
Dr Harivansh Chaturvedi also said that for the next few years, he wishes to work formally and later he also plans to work as a mentor coach or advisor to his own group and other progressive-minded universities and colleges in India.
Addressing Indian higher education, he highlighted that there is a paucity of leadership coaches and mentors as several new universities and institutes are coming up but no one is ready to guide the academic leaders.
Talking about the Education Promotion Society for India, Dr Chaturvedi stated that he founded the society in 2005 and is one of the founder members. “The EPSI is now having its chapters in all the states. We have also contributed to the policy-making of higher education and is working closely with central and state governments. I hope to continue my work in EPSI and in any form with the Birla group as well,” he added.
“I am physically and mentally active, I intend to remain so until the last years of my life,” he concluded.
