West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee rages at people raising ‘Jai Shri Ram’ slogans at her convoy

Some youths were shouting “Jai Shri ram” while Mamta banerjee’s convoy was crossing. West Bengal CM banerjee stopped the car and got angry at a group of purported BJP supporters shouting.



The slogan is frequently used by the leaders and activists of Bharatiya Janata Party. The incident took place at Ballavpur village near Chandrakona town on Saturday.

On her way to Chandrakona to attend a padayatra Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee was confronted by alleged BJP workers raising Jai Shree Ram slogans in West Midnapore.Didi gets off her car and said, “Why are you running away? Come here! Why hurl abuses?

Meanwhile, seven Lok Sabha constituencies in three districts in West Bengal will go to polls in the fifth phase of elections on Monday.

To ensure free and fair elections, the Election Commission will deploy 578 companies of central forces to cover the polling booths in Bongaon (SC), Barrackpur, Howrah, Uluberia, Serampore, Hooghly and Arambagh (SC) seats.
