New Delhi: A female journalist, Mitali Chandola, in the Vasundhara Enclave area of ​​Delhi got shot in her car from masked gunmen, in which she got injured. At present, she is out of danger. According to the information, Mitali lives in Noida. At 12.30, she was going from Hyundai i20 car, but sudenly one Maruti Swift came from behind and shot two bullets at her car in which one bullet hit her. The victim also told the police that the miscreants threw eggs before fleeing.

At present, Mitali has been admitted to Dharmashila Hospital where her condition is out of danger. The police is investigating whether these miscreants are from the gang who throw eggs first on riders and then rob them.

Police also probing the involvement of her husband in the incident, police said, adding they are looking for CCTV footage if available to establish the sequence of event.
