World Environment Expo 2026 Opens at India Expo Mart, Bringing Global Green Technology Leaders Together

Greater Noida News (04/06/2026): The World Environment Expo (WEE) 2026 commenced today at India Exposition and Mart, bringing together environmental technology companies, policymakers, researchers, industry leaders, and sustainability experts from India and around the world on a common platform dedicated to environmental protection and sustainable development.

The B2B exhibition, which opened on World Environment Day, is showcasing a wide range of innovations and solutions in renewable energy, waste management, water conservation, sustainable infrastructure, environmental protection, energy efficiency, and emerging green technologies. The event has attracted exhibitors and delegates from several countries, including the United States, Germany, Belgium, France, Japan, South Korea, Canada, Sweden, and the Netherlands.

Organizers said the expo aims to promote awareness about environmental conservation, encourage the adoption of advanced technologies, support research and innovation, and create business opportunities for manufacturers and suppliers working in the environmental sector. The event is also providing a platform for entrepreneurs, investors, government agencies, and industry stakeholders to explore collaborations and partnerships.

Alongside the exhibition, the World Environment Conference (WEC) 2026 was inaugurated under the theme “Save Nature – Save Future.” The conference has brought together policymakers, academicians, scientists, industrialists, environmentalists, and representatives from government and non-government organizations to discuss pressing environmental challenges and future solutions.

Around 2,000 delegates are expected to participate in the conference sessions, which will focus on a range of critical topics including climate change, carbon emission reduction, green buildings, smart cities, sustainable development, energy conservation, natural resource management, and environmental protection.

Speakers at the conference highlighted the growing urgency of addressing environmental concerns through innovation, policy reforms, and collective action. Experts noted that improper disposal of organic and inorganic waste contributes significantly to greenhouse gas emissions and environmental degradation. Participants stressed the need to adopt the principles of Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle to minimize waste generation and promote responsible consumption.

The expo is also featuring environmental initiatives, government schemes, technological demonstrations, and business networking opportunities. Organizations are participating as exhibitors, sponsors, conference delegates, and nominees for the Green India Awards 2026, which recognize outstanding contributions to environmental sustainability and conservation.
