World’s 3rd Largest Printing & Packaging Expo Printpack 2015 to showcase the “Make in India” strength at Greater Noida

Greater Noida : 9th February, 2015: India Expo Centre and Mart Greater Noida is all set to host the 12th Print Pack India 2015 which is scheduled to be held from 11th February 2015 to 15th February 2015. The 5 days long expo has been ranked as world’s 3rd largest printing and packaging sector exhibition taking place in India. Addressing a Media gathering, Mr K. S. Khurana, President, Indian Printing Packaging & Allied Machinery Manufacturers Association said, “The Indian Printing and Packing Industry which happens to be one of the largest, among worldwide printing sector can play a significant role in achieving the “Make in India” vision of our Prime Minister. The 16000 million USD printing and packing industry of India which is primarily dominated by SME and MSME sector is all set to take off to another pedestal, and, the first step in this direction is its flagship event Print Pack India 2015 which will be a blue print of Make In India”

The 5 days expo will also focus to provide easy accessibility to the small and medium manufacturers and users to adapt the new technologies available in this sector. One of the objectives behind this expo is also to re-establish the domestic manufacturing like web offset. “A special seminar is also being held this year at the print pack India 2015 with a mission to let the audience and visitor familiar with the Indian make web offset machines which are even exported to china” added Mr Khurana. Mr C.P. Paul, General Secretary IPAMA told “Industrial hub of NCR ie Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurgaon are known as the Manchester of Print Business; however the industry is losing it sheen. With Printpack India 2015 our objective is also to provide a mutual platform for manufacturers and users to keep this growth impetus live.” “Indian printing and packaging sector has been rated as the world’s second largest industry growing at a rate of 10-15% annually.  Once the entire industry convergence under a single roof at the much needed platform like Print Pack India, the industry can achieve not only higher growth rate by opening up new markets and avenues for domestic manufactures but it will also help in achieving Make In India Vision, “ said Mr Paul “Being held under the aegis of IPAMA (Indian Printing Packing & Allied Machinery Manufacturers Association) Print Pack India 2015 is not just an exhibition of the products and machines however; it is a platform where the Indian manufacturers from ink making companies to newspapers printing machines will all share a common platform. “With the presence of over 400 participants’ nationwide and international players will be a model platform for the rest of manufacturing sector to showcase the make in India strength of Indian manufacturers and service providers associated with printing packaging and allied industries. Concluded Mr Khurana This year over 1.50 lakhs visitors are expected at this event.. To facilitate increased footfalls, IAPMA the organizing body has left no stone unturned from providing Air-conditioned shuttle Coaches to various other initiatives to make the smooth and safe transition to the visitors. Visitors from over 10 countries have already pre-registered to visit the show. In addition, a number of Overseas Printing Associations and Organizations have confirmed to sending delegations to the mega show of India. Scheduled to be held from 11th February 2015 to 15th February 2015 at Greater Noida Expo Mart, the 12th edition of Print Pack India will raise a platform for all the stake holders of Indian print & packaging industry to present & expand their footprints. It will also serve as one of its kind opportunity to migrate to latest.
