New Delhi, 4th February’16: India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. launched the all new Roadster Motard – Yamaha MT-09 in a bid to strengthen its superbike segment in the Indian market. The eagerly-anticipated launch took place today at the Auto Expo 2016 as bollywood heartthrob John Abraham unveiled the new model much to the excitement and delight of the onlookers. The MT-09 has been planned and developed as the flagship model of the MT series and is priced at INR 10,20,000/- (Ex showroom in Delhi). Yamaha’s latest motorcycle will be available at selected dealers across the country. The all new Yamaha MT-09 mounts a newly developed 847cc, liquid-cooled, 4- stroke, in-line triple-cylinder, fuel-injected engine with ABS technology. Yamaha MT-09 is targeted towards the youth who are looking for excitement, power and style. Main features include 1) Strong yet light 2) Compact engine 3) Long suspension stroke for excellent road holding in all road conditions 4) Equipped with ABS technology 5) Fuel Efficiency (19 km/l). With minimalistic design frills this bike is aimed at providing an exciting riding experience accompanied with high performance and great economy.
