India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd (IYM) in collaboration with Max Multi Specialty Hospital, Greater Noida recently organized a general physician camp at Choganpur Village in Greater Noida. A total of 150 patients were examined during the check up camp by the visiting doctors and were provided free medicines.The objective of the camp was to create awareness among the villagers on the preventive measures to be taken for chikungunya, dengue and viral fever. During the camp, people were educated on the reasons for major widespread of the diseases in this season. Extreme changes in weather conditions along with water logging are the breeding grounds of viral transmitting mosquitos that attack people during daytime resulting in high fever and body illness. The villagers were also advised to keep their surroundings clean in order to prevent the disease from spreading in their area. Yamaha is always committed to build a healthy society and take all appropriate measures to improve the quality of life in its nearby areas. Through our CSR activities, we have always worked towards the upliftment of the underprivileged and the welfare of the society. We believe that a healthy body is a gateway to a healthy mind and we want to support through periodic health checkup camps thereby helping build a healthy and strong India.This year so far 4 camps has been organized in the villages in Greater Noida which includes Internal Medicine & Pediatrics Camp in Habibpur village in February, Pediatric Camp in Tigri village in May and Dental & Pediatric Camp in Alpha 1 in August. This initiative is part of Yamaha’s commitment towards the welfare of the local community and also a testimony of Yamaha’s constant endeavor at being a responsible organization with its CSR activities. Yamaha continues to undertake various activities under its CSR program to benefit those from the economically weaker sections of the society. About India Yamaha Motor Pvt.
