Yamuna Expressway Industrial Developmental Authority will construct a Clover Leaf (a bridge which connects two roads) between Yamuna Expressway and Eastern Peripheral Expressway.

After a long dispute between authority and the National Highway Authority of India over construction of the clover. Now finally it has been decided that authority will take responsibility of construction.

As of now though eastern peripheral expressway is crossing over the Yamuna Expressway but they still don’t have connectivity with each other.

Because of the same many commuters coming from peripheral express way had to leave the expressway near Sirsa and then via Greater Noida they hold up Yamuna Expressway from Zero point.

Earlier there was also a proposal for the construction of clover leaf near Amarpur and for this 47 acre of land was also allotted to the state government but due to lack of funds the project remained pending. The state government also arranged  several meetings between National Highway Authority of India and Yamuna authority but nothing can be finalized.

Now the authority has decided to construct the clover on his own so to enhance the connectivity of Jewar Airport. After this Jewar Airport will have a direct connectivity with western Uttar Pradesh and with some district of Haryana. Authority is looking for every other possible ways through which they can enhance the connectivity of the Jewar Airport. National Capital Region Transport Corporation has been given this responsibility to prepare a connectivity report for the airport.

For now construction of the clover will take time as the region don’t have human settlement and construction of Jewar Airport is yet to start and may take some more time.  So as the requirements of the region will increase the construction work will go parallel to it. Expense on this construction will bourn by authority.
