YES BANK organised its “4th Natural Capital Awards Ceremony”.
Yes bank became the 1st Indian bank to join the Natural Capital Coalition.
On the occasion, Yes bank organised the 1st ever carbon neutral ‘Natural Capital Awards’ in partnership with Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change and Ministry for Development of North Eastern Region and National Mission for Clean Ganga.
Rajiv Ranjan Mishra, Director General, National Mission on Clean Ganga addressed the ceremony with a collection of praising words for Yes bank.
According to him, Yes bank achieved something that every Private Indian Bank dreams to achieve.
Their step towards sustainable development is one of the most important step for which every Indian should take pride in.
Yes Bank is the 1st Indian Bank to join ‘Natural Capital Coalition’ – a global multi-stakeholder collaboration, wherein the bank will integrate natural capital thinking into its strategy & operations.
Yes Bank also released a report at the occasion which was about ‘Innovating Pathways to Sustainable Finance in India’, outlining the need for institutionalizing a green finance architecture in India.
Country Partners for the Award Ceremony included officials from France, Spain, Netherlands, Switzerland, while Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Telangana, Sikkim’s officials were present as State Partners.
