CM Announces 50 Lakh Financial Aid for killed in action police constable, villagers pay tribute!

Wounded in an encounter on late Tuesday night, Meerut Police constable Ankit Tomar succumbed to his inuries on wednesday night. Ankit is survived by wife, 5 month old son and 3 year old daughter. Ankit’s father was at Fortis Hospital when he breathed his last. “Our family is shattered”, said he in an inconsolable voice.

Ankit’s mortal remains were transported to his village where his last rites will be performed. The police truck decorated with marigold carried Ankit’s corpse to his village and reached their early morning. Large number of villagers gathered to pay their last respect to the brave son of their village.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath also paid his tribute late at night and said announced a financial aid of 50 Lakh rupees for the family of the departed. Noida Police also paid their tribute to the police constable in a late night message.
