After CM’s rebuttal Gautam Buddha Nagar district administration acknowledges existence of IGRS, officers to be trained today

(o7/072017) Greater Noida : IGRS or Integrated System for Grievance redressal system has been often referred as an effective medium of getting one’s grievances registered and escalated. However Gautam Buddha Nagar residents have had very adverse experience of IGRS so far.

Many residents say that all complaints lodged by IGRS is routed through DM’s office in the district. However the functionality is such that the complaints are forwarded to the same officer or department against whom the complaint is lodged. Complainant say that is completely against any logic to expect someone to take action against themselves and hence IGRS has become one of the most ineffective tool in Gautam Buddha Nagar.

CM Yogi’s Directive :

In line with PM Modi’s Digital India vision, CM Yogi also insist strongly on best use of Online grievance portal. However the response from G B Nagar district was never upto pubic’s expectation. However now DM B N Singh is organizing IGRS training sessions for officers of different departments to impart details of this system and to create a road map of its effective utilization.
