Dr. Mahesh Sharma organizes Noida Dialogue : An innovative platform for public grievance readdressal

Union Minister and Member of Parliament from Noida, Dr Mahesh Sharma, today held an interactive session Samasya Samadhan at Amity University Noida, with the people from his constituency in which hundreds participated to put forward their concerns.
In this, first of its kind, meeting all the administrative officers, police heads, and sitting MLAs were also called to listen to the
public issues and map out a viable solution.
In the interactive session, various issues were raised that have been concerning the public.

Amity Founder Director Ashok Chauhan also spoke on Samasya-Samadhan initiative and appreciated the gesture in his speech.

Greater Noida and Yamuna Authority Chairman Dr. Prabhat Kumar in his address said that Noida in its initial stage was completely build with the contributions of Farmers and Students. It is high time that their best interest is taken on priority.

Dr Sharma while speaking on the occasions ensured that all the issues would be solved on priority basis. “This meeting has been called with
an intention to address all the public concerns that have been bothering you,” he said while addressing the huge gathering.
“It is imperative upon all the key position holders to listen to and address the issues of public concern,” he said.

While speaking on the issue of buyer-builder tussle, that created a mild uproar in the meeting, Dr Sharma said that we will call separate meeting with all the stakeholders in order to resolve the issue.

“This meeting is called to take care of all the general issues and I am well aware of the magnitude of difficulties that buyers have had to face, so far. However,” Dr Sharma assured, “will call separate meetings, specifically to map out a resolution for this long pending
dispute of home buyers and the compensation to farmers who have given their lands.”
Dr Sharma also assumed that open interactive meeting will continue to happen for the proper functioning of the government and
administration.

Replying to the demand of buyers to initiate criminal proceedings against the builders, ADG Meerut Zone, Anand Kumar, said that the
issue will be properly scrutinized after which we will take appropriate action.
“Since, this matter is in civil domain, we can’t initiate criminal proceeding unless we find that they have deliberately delayed the work while fabricating the facts with criminal intentions. We have a protocol to follow,” he said.
