Ektal Band performs on 6th Day of BIMTECH Sabrang Utsav

BIMTECH, Greater Noida celebrated its 30th Foundation Day on 2nd October, 2017 and continuing with its Foundation Day Celebrations, it has organized SABRANG Utsav-a plethora of cultural and literary events where in a host of renowned artists of the country will be seen performing traditional and modern dance, music, recitals, fun and entertainment activities spread across eight days.
On the 6th day of the celebrations, a live band performance was organized by the Cultural Conduit. Ektal band performed to various popular Bollywood songs and also on many fusions.
EKTAL is a 6-piece band of innovative music enthusiasts. Their sound is an echo of present India, modern while being in touch with their roots.
Born from an over a year long search for the perfect members, EkTaal is a band with handpicked members, each with their own forte and musical background, creating an amalgam of diverse genres into a smooth blend.
Sameer Dhar who is an alumni of BIMTECH is the founder of this band.
Their genres being Fusion, Sufi, Techno fusion, Alternative rock, Nu-Metal. The members of the band are – Anish Batra (Drummer), Gurinder Brar (Guitar player and vocalist),Anjul Garg (Vocals), Shivam Rohilla (Keyboard) and Bhuvnesh(Lead Guitarist) and Sameer Dhar.
They ignited a spark amongst the audience and made them groove them to their songs.
The chief Guests for the said event were Mr. Ankit Vijayvargiya, Alumni of BIMTECH of the batch 2008-10 who is currently working with Honda Cars India Ltd. and the Guest of Honor was Mr. Sanjay Pandey, Chief sub editor,- Hindustan.
The whole BIMTECH family is enthusiastically looking forward to the upcoming events of the “Sabrang Utsav”.
