Eternal Bliss

Holy Mother, I begin by folding my hands and bowing down
Shower us with all your love and blessings
For that will be ample to set aside the pain and agony
I thank you for being my Guide
I thank you for being my Shield
I thank you for being so merciful
Special Thanks for these “eyes”
For they enable me to admire and appreciate Nature’s interminable “beauty”
Special Thanks for all the good and noble thoughts
For they continually keep me on track
I thank you for my sheer existence
I thank you for all my persistence
My joy knows no bound when I hear your “Glorious Tales of Mercy”
My joy knows no bound when I bedeck your “Majestic Bastions”
My joy knows no bounds when I begin writing verses in your praise and honour
My joy knows no bounds when I begin adorning your majestic Regal Shrines with beautiful flowers
I beseech you Holy Mother for prevalence of peace, love and brotherhood all around
When do we get to see a world devoid of all violence and hatred?
I beseech you Holy Mother to Shower the choicest of your Blessings
It has been an agonizingly long wait
And we cannot endure
Lead us to a world where there are no divides
For that alone will be our pathway to “Eternal Bliss”
