IPS officer’s brother joins Hizbul, his pic holding AK-47 released

The missing younger brother of an IPS officer has joined militant group Hizbul Mujahideen. The group released a picture of 25-year-old Shamsul Haq Mengnoo, code-named Burhan Sani, holding an AK-47 and his joining date. Shamsul, who disappeared from the Kashmir University in May, is the brother of 2012 batch Assam-Meghalaya cadre IPS officer Inamul Haq, who is posted in Guwahati.
