Jesus and Mary Convent School INAGURATION OF SENIOR SECONDARY BLOCK

Jesus and Mary Convent School, Greater Noida, organized a function on Saturday, 9th July 2016, for the blessing and inauguration of the Senior Secondary block of the school.It includes Science Labs, a new Computer Lab, a new Library.The event started with inauguration of the new block by the chief guest Most Rev. Dr. Albert D’Souza, The Arch Bishop of Agra Diocese. After cutting the ribbon, he blessed the interior of the building by sprinkling holy water.The various dignitaries and the guest of honour. Mr. Bachchu Singh, Noida City Magistrate were all led into the new building.This was followed by a welcome dance. The students put up various programmes to showcase their talents from colourful dances, recitations, skit and a mime.Also during the occasion, the architect of the building, the contractor, the electrical contractor, the main supervisor and the Assistance Architect were also felicitated.The Chief Guest Rev. Dr. Albert D’Souza expressed his joy and much appreciated the programme saying, “Students are shaped so well”. He also appreciated the efforts of the management & the teachers saying, “I am happy to see the talents of children growing harmoniously”. He expressed his gratitude not only to the teachers but also the parents of children who always cooperated with the school.He also promised that the new upcoming facilities will provide, “Better opportunities and ambience for the students and the teachers”.Speaking on the occasion the Principal of the school Rev. Father Sebastian said that education is a great wealth.The education which is given to the young minds is the wealth of the nation and the greatest investment of the nation.An educated child or youth is the resources of the nation.The programme concluded with the silent National anthem.
