MSME Minister of Uttar Pradesh SatyadevPachauriand Bangladesh High Commissioner H.E. Syed Muzzemal Ali visit India International Mega Trade Fair at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida



GREATER NOIDA : Shri. SatyadevPachauri, Honourable Minister of Khadi, Village Industries, Sericulture, Textile, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and Export Promotion of the Government of Uttar Pradesh today visited the India International Mega Trade Fair at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida.

Honourable Minister SatyadevPachauri was welcomed with flower bouquets by IEML Chairman Shri. Rakesh Kumar and GS Marketing Associates Chairman Shri. Prakash Shah.

Hon. Minister Shri. SatyadevPachauri appreciated the India Expo Mart Limited for inaugurating 2MW Solar Roof Top panel connected with Grid and said that it must inspire other such organizations to do the same.

Soon before the arrival of the UP Minister, the High Commissioner of Bangladesh also visited the India International Mega Trade Fair and spent more than three hours at the fair ground.  He visited different stalls of Bangladesh and interacted with the participants. He appreciated the event and urged more and more manufacturing units to participate in such events for long term and sustainable business.

His Excellency H.E.SyedMuzzemalAli, High Commissioner of Bangladesh was accompanied by FaridHussain, Minister (Press), Bangladesh High Commission Delhi, Dr.Nahid Rashid, Minister( Commerce),  GS Marketing CEO Smt. SuparnaD. Gupta and Sr. President GS Marketing RanajitDattagupta.

Minister SatyadevPachaurisaid,”Uttar Pradesh government is totally committed to promote Khadi as well as to provide necessary assistance to Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises. As of now, our government is at very initial stage but I can assure that within a year positive effect will be seen in various fields”.

The Honourable Ministertook a round of India International Mega Trade Fair and interacted with various traders and manufacturers exhibiting and selling their products at this grand fair.

He was very impressed with the variety of products at different stalls of the India International Mega Trade Fair and stated that it is a great platform for various traders and manufacturers to promote and sell their products.The Minister also informed that MSME is taking part in the IIMTF on a large scale. He appreciated the IEML and G S Marketing Associates  fororganizing this world class trade fair.

Talking about his preparations for the spread of Khadi and Village industries in Uttar Pradesh, he said “Our main aim is to bring Solar Spinning wheels to greater use which will not only be good for energy conservation but will also help in more production at less time.The developments of industries especially in Bundhelkhand and Purvanchal areas are also on priority for this government”.

Shri. Anil Kumar, IAS, Principal Secretary, Dept. of MSME & Export Promotion, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh said, “We have all the required skill and knowledge.  We just had to bring ease of business and things will speed up by themselves.We are trying that most of the things required by MSME will be available through online web portals. Even if one needs to physically visit the office he should find a very cooperative atmosphere. Our department is mostlyfocusing on bringing transparency”.

IEML Chairman Shri. Rakesh Kumar thanked the Honourable minister and the Principal Secretary for visiting the India International Mega Trade Fair and the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. He also said that India Expo Mart is committed to substantially use CSR fund for social-welfare in the region where it operates and would urge other organizations also to do so.

All the three visiting VIPs appreciated the Fair, its high quality, international standard, and the variety of products on display and sale from India and abroad in the same prestigious venue.
