Greater Noida’s most busy crossing that also marks the culmination point of Noida-Greater Noida expressway namely, “Pari Chowk” today adorned banners of ‘Nigerian Free Greater Noida’ hanging from its outer periphery.

Despite External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj’s assurance of a free and fair probe in the Monday night thrashing of an African student the posters are creating an atmosphere of fear in the International community currently residing in the city.

Probably fearing backlash from the administration the banners do not carry names of any individual or organization which might be responsible behind installing it at popular juncture.

It is interesting to note that though district administration is actively pursuing the case owing to its international stature, yet no attempts have been made to remove these posters from the public vicinity.

Till the writing of this report on Tuesday afternoon the banners were not removed from the place.
