Saheed Vijay Singh Pathik Stadium to get major sports boost under the new administration

Partha Sarthi Sen Sharma CEO Greater Noida authority has instructed Rajesh Kumar, Secretary of Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex, Greater Noida that District sports association and National Olympic Committee should provide year long calendar for sports activity to their regional centers so that more sports tournaments can be organized in the sports complex. The required infrastructure for such tournaments will also be developed in the complex.
CEO will soon form a committee of good officers as he thinks that sports complex had potential to host state level, national level and even international level of tournaments.
In this regard sports federations of the sports which are in the list of Olympic games will be contacted and asked for there year long sports calendar so that sports tournaments at state level and of national level can be organized here.
Apart from that Inter school sports tournament, tournaments at university level as well as from corporates will also be encouraged to take place here.
Multipurpose indoor hall of the stadium can be used as training center of Pro Kabadi and pro- Wrestling kind of sports and Authority might be thinking for its feasibility.
