I.T.S Engineering successfully organized a three days Curriculum Development Workshop

Greater Noida, Wednesday 20 April, 2016: On behalf of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, I.T.S Engineering College, one of the Premier Institution in the field of Engineering and Management Education organized a 3 day Workshop on “Curriculum Development”.The I.T.S Engineering successfully organized a three days Curriculum Development Workshop on behalf of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow during April 18-20, 2016. The I.T.S Engineering College is one of the few Engineering College in Uttar Pradesh which has been selected by the University to organize this workshop. The college has the legacy of creating facilities and environment to takeup new challenges and organization of this workshop has further strengthened the belief. The basic objectives of the workshop was to discuss on the implementation of Choice Based Credit System as per the guidelines of University Grant Commission(UGC) and enhance the quality of curriculum delivered in various Computer Science academic programmes like B.Tech.(CSE) B.Tech.(IT), MCA and MCA dual degree being run by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow and to foster a better curriculum for students in the Academic Institutions. The 1st day of the workshop was marked by the presence of Director of I.T.S Engineering College and workshop coordinator, Dr. Vineet Kansal, delegates from Industry, eminent Professors from Academia and members of Board of Studies (BoS). Various distinguished academicians and industry experts of international repute from renowned organizations like IIT, NIIT, TCS, HCL, etc presented their views regarding changes in the curriculum.On the second and third day of the workshop, there was meeting with members of Board of Studies (BoS) headed by honorable Vice-chancellor of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Dr. Vinay Pathak in which views presented by academicians and industry experts were discussed to make changes to the curriculum of various Computer Science academic programmes like B.Tech.(CSE) B.Tech.(IT), MCA and MCA dual degree being run by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow to meet industry requirements and increase employability of the students of CSE / IT academic programs.Finally, Dr. Vineet Kansal, Workshop Coordinator, member BoS and Director of I.T.S Engineering College thanked and acknowledged Honorable Chief Guest Dr. Vinay Pathak, Vice-Chancellor of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, various eminent academicians, industry experts and members of Board of Studies(BoS) for sparing their valuable time from their busy Schedule.
