MEETING WITH SSP IN FONRWA 1 & 2 MARCH, 2014

Dear Friends,

We wish to bring to your kind attention that crimes in Noida city  has been significantly increasing.  Incidents of robberies, car thefts, car snatchings, chain snatchings, jhapatmaris have been quite frequent and no tangible steps seem to have been taken to curb the same.In view of the current precarious situation,  Noida citizens have been feeling quite insecure. Thus there is an essential and critical need to take effective steps with a view to control the continued rise in the crimes in Noida city.  May we once again request you to kindly  take requisite steps in this regard. We wish to once again request your kind urgent intervention in resolution of the following essential and critical issues:   1.      MONTHLY MEETINGS WITH FONRWA:  Even though it has been planned to have the monthly meetings with FONRWA,  in the presence of your good-self as also SP(City), the system is not being rigidly followed.  Kindly have the system revived and rigidly followed  up. 2.        MONTHLY MEETINGS WITH RWAs.  Despite the directions to hold monthly meetings of SOs and Chowki Incharge with RWAs, the same are not being held on such periodical basis. 3.      REMOVAL OF UNAUTHORIZED ENCROACHMENTS AND VENDORS ON THE ROADS: Our continued requests for eviction of the said unauthorized encroachments are not being considered for requisite action. 4.       CONTROL ON KABARIS:  As submitted earlier, we reiterate that requisite policies, procedures may be formulated with a view to have desired control on the functioning of the kabaris in the Sectors. 5.      INTENSIFICATION OF PATROLLING: There is critical need to intensify patrolling in the Sectors, particularly in the vulnerable points. 6.      RIGOROUS FOLLOW-UP OF CRIMES   It has been quite often noted by us that the incidents of thefts and robberies, are not being forcefully followed up and consequently, the items of thefts are not being recovered. Hence we once again request you to kindly have the requisite policy/procedure and action plan devised on an urgent basis.
