15 lakhs of cash looted by two Women, Entered the house as domestic help

Noida,(26/2/2019): Two women allegedly looted 15 lakhs of cash from a house in sector 55, Noida.

The incident took place at the house of Sagar Bhandari, an furniture showroom owner when at least 4 members of his family were present in the house.

Police officials said, “two women entered Sagar’s house and told his mother that they were sent by the security guard for the requirement of maids in the house. Since the house maid is not coming for past two days, his mother immediately agreed upon them and allowed them to clean the house”. “She did not seek any identity proofs nor did they get any verification done”, officials added.

Police also said, “after pretending to have started working in the house, the women allegedly opened an almirah to steal the briefcase containing the cash”.
The women went out saying that they would soon return. Sagar realised the missing cash when he was getting ready for the office.

Pankaj Rai, SHO, Sector 58 police station, said, “atleast 15 lakh cash was allegedly kept in a briefcase that has been stolen. An FIR was lodged against the unknown women. We are checking CCTV footage to identify the accused”.
