Ola thanks to Supreme Court and the Government – for allowing to operate diesel taxis

We welcome the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court. The proposed phased roll out by EPCA & the Government will help salvage the livelihoods of tens of thousands of drivers in Delhi NCR. Ola is committed to CNG adoption in Delhi NCR and currently has over 30,000 CNG vehicles on the platform. We have been working relentlessly over the last 6 months to help tens of thousands of diesel taxi driver-owners across Delhi-NCR by highlighting their plight to the EPCA and other relevant Govt authorities. We have also been working with affected drivers by helping them with guidance on recourse, since this is a matter of their livelihoods. We are thankful to the Hon’ble Supreme Court and the Government for taking into consideration the threat to the livelihoods of thousands of drivers and allowing them to operate within the current framework.
