The troubled times for JRE institutions, Greater Noida students is finally going to end with a successive transfer into a parallel category college to allow them to complete their technical education.
The decision has been taken after repeated interaction between students, teachers, administration and university authorities. The troubled college of the reason has stopped taking admissions since last two academic years, however B.Tech being a four year course, had students awaiting completion of their terms in other years.
As per sources the management has been defaulting on the salaries of the teachers and hence during a period in August there was also a time when teachers had refused to conduct classes. The police intervention was sought and an amicable temporary solution was reached.
However students also approached AICTE and APJAKTU to seek there intervention and find a final resolution in this regard.
Last week Professor Vinay Kumar Pathak, Vice-Chancellor of APJAKTU also conducted a meeting with students and parents in the JRE campus, Greater Noida.
Most students were of the view to get them transferred to other functional colleges so that they can get good education and also can get some assistance regarding placement.
In this regard a decision was taken by the state University keeping in my mind citizens welfare. It was decided that students will have to undergo a counselling in Lucknow based on which the students will be allocated different colleges.
The counselling dates were for 13th and 14th November. The VC had also appealed to all the students to take part in these counselling.
